Al Albano - President
- With over 30 years in the food industry, Al's background includes:
- 5 years retail experience with major chains
- 2 years as District Manager with a national brand dairy line
- Over 20 years experience as a food broker, calling on all key accounts in the Northeast.
- Al attended Central Connecticut State College. He is married, with four children.
Mike Sonberg - Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
- Mike comes to us with over 22 years of experience in retail and category management.
- He began his career as a meat cutter working in both small, independent meat shops and in Tops Markets.
- Mike worked for Hannaford Brothers as a Meat Re-order Buyer.
- Mike worked at Giant Food Stores in Carlisle, PA for seven years. He began as a Category Manager and proceeded to Director of Meat/Seafood and finally to Vice President of Operations and Merchandising.
- Mike has a BS/BM from the University of Phoenix Online and is married with two children.
Wally Rockwell - Vice President
- Wally began his career as a perishable broker over 20 years ago.
- His background includes experience in retail support and retail support supervision.
- Wally has been making headquarter sales calls for direct and indirect accounts since 1980.
- Wally attended Northeastern University, and holds a degree in Business Management.
Frank Ocone - Vice President of Operation, Connecticut
- Frank attended New Haven and Cheshire Ct. schools, and Southern Ct. University.
- In 1972 he was employed by Jay Lee Foods Distributors, a full line deli, meat and cheese company.
- In 1974 he moved to Columbia Gem Packing Co., a smoked meat and deli company.
- In 1983, he moved to Colonial Packing Co., where he was upgraded to Chain Accts.
- In 1984 he honed his brokerage skills with Pryority Food Marketing and in 1988, moved to PGA Sales as a partner, to represent Smithfield Packing, which he still operates today.
- He lives in Cheshire Ct., with his wife Jo-Anne, and son Anthony, and has two married daughters.
Mike Sullivan - Vice President of Operations, Boston
- With 25 years of perishable foods experience, Mike brings a solid and diverse background to the Pryority team.
- Mike has been with Pryority for over 15 years, where he has been involved in distributor sales, as well as taking over management of the inside sales support staff and telemarketing operations.
- Before joining Pryority, Mike worked for two major meat processors, where he was responsible for sales and distribution.
Steve Cote - Vice President Retail Services
- Steve brings over 20 years of experience in retail sales and support to the Pryority team.
- Steve's product handling and merchandising knowledge includes such categories as specialty cheese, Kosher products, fresh meat .
- Steve supervises, trains, and coordinates the activities of all field service personnel.
- Steve is married, with three children, and lives in Cumberland, R.I..
Brian Boyd - Sales Manager, Indirect Accounts
- Brian was born in St. Petersburg Florida but grew up in New England and
graduated from North Adams State College with a BS degree in Business
Administration
- Brian comes to us with over 18 years experience in food sales with Hormel
Foods Corp, Lloyd's & Chase-Kolbin
- Brian is an account executive for several lines and has responsibility for
both direct and indirect accounts.
- Brian lives in N. Attleboro, MA. with his wife and three children.
Matt Vernali - Account Executive
- Matt brings over 20 years of experience in the food industry,
including 16 years as a perishable broker, calling on key accounts
- His background also includes 5 years of retail experience at a major
supermarket chain
- 3 years experience in the restaurant and foodservice industry.
- Matt attended the University of Hartford
Chuck Piazza - Account Manager
- Born in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Nichols College with a B.B.A. Degree
- Chuck spent most of his life in a family owned business manufacturing fresh
sausage and processed meats
- His background includes plant management and operations, and direct sales
- Chuck lives in Woburn, MA. With his wife and two sons
Don Mendenhall - Account Manager
- Don brings over 20 years of experience selling perishable foods to the retail trade
- In his regional manager position for a major producer of processed meats,
Don has managed a direct sales force, as well as a broker network, calling on
key accounts

Nick Schiralli - Account Manager
- Born in Brooklyn, New York

- 30 Years of Retail meat & deli experience
- Previously owned and operated his own meat & deli brokerage company
- Nick lives in Enfield, Connecticut with his wife & children
Jane Sears - Sales Coordinator
Jane's experience consists of 20 years in the perishable brokerage business.
Jane's responsibilities include administrative assistance, customer service, sales
support. Jane lives in Franklin, Massachusetts.
Monique Moore - Sales Coordinator
Monique brings to Pryority over 20 years experience in customer service including
two years as a Supervisor with AT&T. Monique has also completed purchasing courses
at Northern Essex Community College. Monique is responsible for customer service,
sales support and retail support. Monique lives in Lowell, MA.
Sharon Soyden - Sales Coordinator
Sharon is responsible for customer service, sales support and administrative support.
Sharon has over 15 years experience in administrative support and is a graduate of
Katharine Gibbs School (now known as Gibbs College) in Boston, Massachusetts. Sharon
lives in Dracut, Massachusetts.
Melissa McGeeney - Accounting/HR
Melissa comes to Pryority Food Marketing with experience in payroll, accounting,
banking and customer service. Melissa also has several years of experience in the
restaurant business. Melissa lives in Westford, Massachusetts.
Anne Ervin - Administrative Assistant
Anne is responsible for customer service, sales support, and deduction management.
Anne joined Pryority Food Marketing in July of 2004. Anne lives in Billerica,
Massachusetts.
